Learning Spaces in the Library
The library has a variety of study spaces for students to use.
Some of these spaces can be reserved for specific group meetings or one-time class sessions:
Library Computer Lab
The computer lab has 38 computers (Macs and PCs) that are running Microsoft Office, Edge Browser, FireFox, Chrome, and other software needed for handling common document and multimedia files. The lab computers connect to the lobby printers for high-speed b&w or color laser printing. A flatbed and sheet scanner are available in the lab for independent use or with assistance from a library worker. A video/data projector and a projection screen are installed in the room for multimedia presentations. Study tables are available for collaborative work. Consult with a librarian if there are specific needs for classes that will be held in the lab.
Main Level Group Study Rooms
There is a glass-walled room on the main floor that can be used as two separate rooms or one large room. Three conference tables are provided. The larger room also has a whiteboard.
Group Viewing Room
On the lower level there is a room for small groups (8-10 people). The room has a conference table and a TV with a DVD/VHS player or HDMI connection to a laptop.
