Computer Workstations

The open study area on the library's main floor has 16 computers which are always available when the library is open. One workstation is provided on the upper level, and one on the lower level.

The Computer Lab is also on the main floor and has 20 workstations. The Computer Lab is available for individual use and the room can also be reserved for special class sessions or testing by faculty or staff. All library computers have access to printing, use current software, and provide connectivity to library and campus online resources. Laptops

The library provides MacBooks which can be checked out from the Circulation Desk for 2 days at a time. These are loaded with standard software. Accompanying chargers, headphones, and VGA adapters are also available. Laptops are are non-renewable due to our extreme limited supply. If we do have one in stock when you return your laptop, we will allow you to check out a different laptop. Contact the Circulation Desk at 965-6241 for availability and policies. Overdue fees of $20/day will apply after the 3rd day. If a borrower accumulates overdue fees of $500 or more, their borrowing priveledges will be suspended. Borrowers are also responsible for replacement cost of damaged or lost eqiupment.

Video/Data Projector

A ceiling mounted video projector for group presentations is available in the Computer Lab. If a laptop is also needed for a presentation, it can be borrowed from the Circulation Desk. The circulation desk also has a small pico-projector available to borrow for small groups that connects to laptops, cell phones, or tablets.

Flatbed Scanner

A flatbed scanner and sheet scanner in the Computer Lab and a flatbed scanner at the circulation desk are available for public use.

Wi-Fi

All areas of the library have Wi-Fi.

Printers

Color and b&w printers are networked to all public computer workstations in the library. See "How to Use the Public Printers" for more information.

Copiers

The main and upper floors each have a coin operated b&w copier.

Fax Machine

Staff at the front circulation desk  will assist in sending or receiving faxes, free of charge.

Television with DVD player

A television is provided for small groups to use in the Group Viewing Room. Some public computers also have a DVD player. Headphones can be borrowed at the front desk.

Cassette Player, Slide Viewer, VHS Viewer, Microform Reader/Printer

This equipment is provided on the lower level of the library.

Additional Equipment

Support for classroom and individual technology needs is also provided by the staff in Media Services. Audiovisual equipment can be borrowed and assistance in preparing multimedia presentations is available. Contact Media Services at 965-7221 or mediaservices@puc.edu
