The Heritage Room contains several special collections housed at the Nelson Memorial Library, Pacific Union College. The mission of the Heritage Room is to acquire, organize, preserve, and make available for use materials in four broad areas:

• Items related to the history and beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
• Documents and archival materials related to the history of Pacific Union College and its predecessor, Healdsburg College.
• Information about the Pitcairn Islands and the Bounty saga, which are housed in the Pitcairn Islands Study Center.
• Rare and valuable items of historical significance that need special care.
