Angwin, Calif. -- A joint service scientific diving expedition titled, Exercise Bounty Bay, has left England on its way to Pitcairn Island to study marine life surrounding the island.

Led by Englishman Rod Newman, the month-long study by divers in the expedition team is expected to add considerable knowledge about what goes on under the waters surrounding Pitcairn.
