WORK BEE

The images below document a work bee organized by the PUC Church to help a neighbor in the Angwin area that lost his house and personal belongings to a fire. Throughout the property, many trees had been severely damaged by the heath and the flames and needed to be cut. The work bee focused mostly on clearing the areas of the property where trees had been affected by the fire.

This was an opportunity for the PUC Church community to show that we can be good neighbors both at Angwin and in the global village. In this case, both concepts are connected since that the owner of the property indicated that he would be willing to contribute to the Mozambique Maranatha project if the members of the PUC Church were willing to help him.
