John Hagan (1945 -) writes, paints and educates by telling stories. He has been published in prose, painting and has written a novel regarding the Bounty mutiny. The 28 powerful oil paintings that comprises this beautiful collection have been extensively used in television programs, magazines and elsewhere. Never before have they been offered as a complete set of signed miniatures on canvas. They are printed with light fast (75+ years) pigments on canvas using the latest technology and then varnished for their ultimate protection. They are available exclusively, and limited, through the Pitcairn Islands Study Center at Pacific Union College, 1 Angwin Avenue, CA 94508 USA.
A complete set of miniatures comprises 28 canvas prints each approximately 9" x 6" in size. They are grouped together under the general headings of: 1. Portraits. 2. Journey to Tahitie. 3. Tahitie. 4. Mutiny to Timor. 5. Pitcairn Island. 6. Pandora and Miscellaneous. 7. Portsmouth and trial.
Individual artist-signed giclee canvas prints of approximately 23" x 15" (14" x 11" for the 'Portraits', Collection 1) of each painting are also available. Full size prints (24" x 36") are available by special request.
